He is a Past-President of the Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society and is the Chairman of the Environmental Litigation and Administrative Practice Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. In addition to his medical board certifications, Dr. Chiodo is also a Certified Medical Review Officer which is the designation required by the U.S. Department of Transportation for a physician to determine whether or not a drug or alcohol test is a true or false positive. He is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, Illinois, Florida and New York. He is also licensed to practice law in the states of Michigan and Illinois and is an adjunct professor of law at John Marshall Law School in Chicago and Loyola University of Chicago Law School where he teaches toxic tort law. He has offices in Chicago and suburban Detroit. He also has a forensic medical office located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
